PAOK have qualified for the last 8 of the Greek Cup after defeating Panserraikos by 2-0 in Serres for the round of 16 Greek Cup tie.
PAOK got off to a flying start in the 14th minute with a cracking goal. From a direct free kick Lino scored with a left footed shot that came of the post. In the 24th minute Chalkias kept the score at 1-0 when he saved a close range shot by Georgiadis.
In the second half PAOK had the first chance of the half in the 56th minute when a flick on by new signing Edihno put Koutsianikoulis through on goals but he rounded the keeper and his shot went wide of the target. In the 62nd minute Panserraikos scored a dissalowed goal when Zambropoulos scored with a header but he fouled Arabatzis at the same time. In the 73rd minute PAOK put the game beyond doubt when a cross from Sorlen found substitute Papazoglou who scored with a header to make the final score 2-0.

PAOK COACH FERNANDO SANTOS PRESS CONFERENCE: We knew what happened in the previous round against Olympiakos and we were prepared. This was an even game and we had luck on our side and scored a quick goal. In the end it was experience that got us over the line today.
