PAOK dropped 2 valuable points today in a stadium which was a sea of Black and White in Kavala after drawing 0-0 after missing great goalscoring opportunities.
PAOK created the first chance of the match after a long range effort by Vierihna was parried away by Kavala keeper in Kalac. In the 30th minute another chance for PAOK when a long range effort by Vierihna was parried by Kalac straight to Papazoglou who couldn't slot home the rebound. On the stroke of half time a rare attack by Kavala when from a good position a shot from Rincon was saved with his legs by Chalkias.
In the second half it was one way traffic with PAOK the only team attacking. In the 47th minute a long ball from Cirillo hit the top of the crossbar. In the 49th minute a long ball from Cirillo found Papazoglou who beat the Kavala defence and with only the keeper to beat his shot went wide of the target. In the 50th minute another chance squandered by PAOK when a sorlen cross from the right found an unmarked Vierihna who from close range send his shot wide of the target in the miss of the season. In the 62nd minute a shot from just inside the penalty area from Lino hit the upright. In the 65th minute another great chance missed by PAOK when a Lino cross found Papazoglou who's header looped over Kalac's head but the crossbar was to his rescue. After all that the game finished 0-0 in what should have been a PAOK win after all the chances missed. In the stands the PAOK fans where at there awsome best.

PAOK COACH FERNANDO SANTOS PRESS CONFERENCE: This was a result which doesen't please us. We wanted to win this game as we do in other games. We had control of the match, created chances but couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. We missed several chances and hit the post 3 times in the 2nd half.
